WHAT WE
DO
The PTA funds academic enrichment programs, such as field trips or after-school art, drama, music, math and reading programs. The PTA also funds events and activities that promote family engagement at school, to strengthen home and school relationships.

Due to devastating cuts to the state and city budget in recent years, PTAs are increasingly filling the gaps and helping to fund basics such as classroom supplies and equipment as well as librarians and school nurses.

Each year the PTA assesses its needs and develops a program plan that provides for the unique needs of Roosevelt Elementary. Learn more.
